I have been gently winding my way into Croydon from my camp spot last night. Something of a nostalgia tour – some delight, but also some tough memories too. I did struggle back then and it was a long journey making sense if it all…and the walk brings that all home.
A bit more to do and I’m wondering if today will be the first time I’m pleased to see Croydon…

*** This blog post is part of series of blog posts for my Journey About Home in which I walked from Edinburgh to where I grew up in south London. For an overview of the journey and links to other blog posts I wrote whilst I journeyed go to this page.
