Hello, my name is Christopher and I am a happiness and wellbeing expert.
I’ve been involved professionally in understanding happiness and wellbeing for more than 15 years. Initially, as an academic researcher, publishing over 25 peer-reviewed academic articles, and then later as a consultant in helping organisations develop their wellbeing strategy. I currently live and work in the Scottish Borders supporting community mental health. My most prolific endeavour was when I took some time away to journey to Bhutan on a bicycle. It was a journey that lasted 18-months and I’ve written book about that journey that can be bought here. I sometimes give lectures and media interviews to talk about my work – be it my research, my cycling journey to Bhutan, or both.
This website acts as both a blog to generally share ideas about happiness and wellbeing, provide a portfolio of the work I’ve carried out over the years, and highlight what I can do. I am interested in contributing to the creation of conditions that foster individual & societal wellbeing and keen to work with others to do so. Take a look around my site and if there is something that interests you and you’d like to find out more then please get in touch.
